Find said there is no such file or directory...I went and there is only
one file inside /lib/modules/ and it references ide .

discover seems to do nothing. When I do a lsmod, there is not any module
listed for ethernet. If I do a modprobe e1000 as suggested elswhere, I
get a module not found message.

I just installed debian on a server. The server has a an Intel PRO 1000
MT network card/interface. This was not rcognized by any driver on the
install.
1. Is there a driver that will work with this. I believe it is on the
motherboard.
2. As a newbie with Debian/Linux. How do I know install a
