i have thought about that too! i will then try some

i am not quite sure what is going on, but my
harddrive, managed by the libata + ata_piix drivers is
randomly reinitialzing and after doing that no longer
accessable for the kernel by its old name /dev/sda but
/dev/sdb. this is indeed very strange, since it never
has happend before. i am running etc
