Hello.
This might be a stupid question, but how do I get support for SuExec in Apache?
I've been browsing the Apache website and /usr/doc, but there's no easy
explaination of how to implement it.
I've noticed in several places that it is recommenden not to use SuExec, but

Hello.
Lately I have been thinking alot about backups on Unix-systems.
I don't have any mission-critical data or system, so "tar" and "gzip"
are enough for me.
But I was thinking, what is a good backup-strategy when I run Debian?
I find it useless to "tar ... gzip" whole "/" and it's subdirector

Hello.
I have a Slink system which runs very fine with the 2.0.38 kernel. No
problems or shutdowns at all.
Now I want to use the 2.2.x kernel because of some features, but I want
to know first if it is possible to run v2.2.x kernel on a Slink system.

Hello.
I had a similar problem, but solved it in another quick & dirty way.
Instead if meddling with the module-parameters I simply took the 3Com
Utility-disk, which was delivered with the card, booted it and used
their setup-program to switch to the Coax-port and not go by autodetect.

Hello.
In v3.3.3.1 of XFree86 there is support for the Productiva G100 AGP and
it works well.
You should use the SVGA-server for this card.
Just select the card (341 if I remember right) and the only thing you
should enter, besides manufacturer and model, is the amount of memory
which in your cas
Hello Paul.
I tried this yesterday actually and it resumes where it was last time.
Just reconnect, start dselect and choose "install" and it will continue.

It's a nice idea, but it's too hard to get
seem to be something debian-specific my question is: Is
it safe to delete the "/etc/cron.d/modutils", or is there a recommended
debian-way to inactivate cronjobs that are not used?

I saw the new logo on www.debian.org and I'm curious..
Exactly what is it supposed to symbolize?
I don't have much of an artistic mind, but to me it looks like a pigs
tail.
