KMail - GNOME

Hi! I installed Etch with Gnome but for mailer I like to use KMail. When I tried to get an email I got a message (error): Could not start process pop3 And when I send an email message stay in outbox and nothing happened. I tried to send and get with Evolution and with Sylpheed and work with both.
