APT and stable/unstable packages

time I run apt-get update and then dist-upgrade. Also, I wouldn't mind downloading the XFree86 packages manually, but keeping track of all of their "requires" manually is error-prone, I don't think I want to attempt that again.

fte error

. the version of fte-console installed is 0.46b5-4.2 It no longer works when my console is in graphics mode (vesa framebuffer) typing in vfte just returns me to my prompt. Anyone else experience this? Yuri Niyazov
