Is there a program that allows multiple applications to play audio
at the same time? Like a mixer daemon ... If so, could someone point
it to me?
Thanks.

Yes, I think this is the problem. But I have no idea what kind of audio
devices the on motherboard YAMAHA OPL 3-SAx chip belongs to. All the info
I have is that it's "audio device for YAMAHA OPL 3-SA

I am using tcsh, and I put "unset autologout" in to /etc/csh.login.
However, my session got killed again just a while ago. Is what I did

autologout will log the session out in almost exactly the number of
minutes set by autologout,
re you running NAS? I had the same problems until I killed NAS.

After updated the system, now when I logged in and started X,
the system always automatically logged me out saying "no keyboard
touch for 63 minutes ...", even though I did work under X (looks like
it only checked the tty which I logged in on). I checked
/var/spool/cron/crontab but didn't find th
I just updated the system to hamm and tried to install rvplayer5.0,
however I can't make it work. After dpkg -i rvplayer_5.0-2.deb
and set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH virable, first I tried to run rvplayer
directly with the included welcome.rm, but no sound was played out
