Sadly, it didn't work. Whenever I do load a ruby
file I do get the message:
"Loading inf-ruby...done".
But I get no syntax highlighting. I can't debug the
program through xemacs either.
How did you get your mode to work that wasn't
working before?

to install a version of the phoenix browser, after
uninstalling Mozilla using dselect. The phoenix
browser didn't work for me (sadly), so I removed it
and its related files and reinstalled mozilla and

Along with upgrading to Debian Woody, I upgraded my
monitor and now, among other resolution, I can get
1024x768. However, whenever xscreensaver runs, it
only covers a portion of of the 1024x768 area. How
can I fix this?

Are there any deb packages available of X4 for the powerpc? If so,
where are they.
I have already checked
deb http://people.debian.org/~branden/ woody/powerpc
using apt-get and they don't appear to be there?

using kernel 2.2.17 and Debian potato on an Apple PowerPC 7500, so
the problem may lie within the powerpc port itself.

manual and its pretty non-controversial.
Try dialing in using minicom. An immediate hangup like you are getting
suggests a possible problem with your modem.
Minicom will show you what you get back from your ISP when your call first
gets
