I am trying to use sarge.
To do so I followed these steps
1. Installed woody
2. apt-cdrom add (sarge cds)
3. apt-get update
4. apt-get upgrade
5. apt-get install x-window-system
Are these the best options?
Now I want to make gnome my desktop but I am not sure about what package

Currently I am using woody.
I installed icewm using the following

The follow link has a great explanation about traversing tables and chains.

Just when I read that I understood that chain and tables are intermingled.

I know this question is a little off-topic and with a broad scope.
And I am not interested in set up a new distro.
The fact is: I really want to know and perhaps be able to setup a

I guess that thousands of people would enjoy that.

Thanks
