Perhaps the "form factory" kernel-image-2.2.10 does not contain
'msdos' support? If so, you can probably use the 'vfat' filesystem
(which is backwards compatible) instead. Or, yes, build your own
image (the best way to do that would be via 'make-kpkg').
As for going back to an older kernel-imag
Everytime you [U]pdate, your old 'status' list gets replaced. If you
had information on packages you installed on your own (either built by
you locally, or obtained from sources outside your Debian CD), this
information is lost next time you look at the [I]nstall menu.
This is not a problem, if

Could anyone who has StarOffice 4, service pack 3 running on Debian

I would be eternally grateful! I have a bit of a problem with my

The Debian Hamm tree contains binaries for i386, alpha, m68k, sparc

architectures.
How does one obtain install disks or a pointer to an install procedure
for Debian on PowerPC/PowerMac?
Thanks

I then tried the glibc2 (libc6) version of Netscape 4.05, and this
did not happen.
