I ran into this problem a while ago...
Basically, I came to the conlcusion that you should configure your
mail program to replace the from header. For Example, in Mutt, just
add the following to your muttrc file:
my_hdr From: Tomislav Renic \<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
my_hdr Reply-To: To

My problem is that my machine occasionaly locks up completely (no
response whatsoever...not even num/caps lock or mouse), requiring a cold
boot, after attempting to mount and NFS volume.
