I have a DVB card that stupidly uses the same PCI ID as the bttv cards.
Loading the bttv module causes a hard lock. I need to prevent this

st of the system, it locked at installing
xawtv (it created the device /dev/video, which caused hotplug to try and load
bttv, which locks because I have a Twinhan Visionplus card).
I decided to just reinstall to fix it, and today it
wont install.
Should I just try again tomorrow?

It is a virus. I got a message from AusCERT (Aussie IT security place) about
it this morning (as in about 12 hrs ago).

life of me, I cant find anything about what it's doing. Anyone know what to
do with it? I need to test my kernel (since it's a scary bugger needing
satellite and tv tuner drivers among other things).
Thanks in advance
