today I got the following problem:
Reading Package Lists... Error!
E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occured while processing alevt (NewFileVer1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
When I try to apt-get

since yesterday it seems to be, that kde.debian.net, aka
kde.tdyc.com, is down. Are there any public mirrors out there?
Or even more interesting: Is there any server (usable by apt-get)
which contains packages for KDE 3.0?

You should look for a card with a Texas Instruments Chip onboard. (Most of them
do have this chip, only a few didn't and work,too) It should be OHCI-compatible

Have you tried different drivers for cdr

Oh thanks... I hoped for this message... since hours I tried to compile,
thought even, that I try to use a broken module, but it looks just like
