I ended up creating symlinks to the user's home dirs that will be publishing
web material. Then in httpd.conf, gave permissions to apache to use the
symlink and it works quite well. Seems to work well for me . . .

I would assume you could get more help from the qmail site - even though you
are installing it on Debian, the config really isn't platform specific as
much as qmail specific.

Just a second opinion backup Stephen Gran's. Not the prettiest, but it is
straight cgi/html output and needs a bit of tweaking.

You're looking for a Windows Explorer replacement, right?
The closest I have found is:

"What releases are available?
Currently there is only a binary release for Linux and it's an early Beta."
So it's not 'ready' yet, but it does look
apt-get install libncurses5-dev

Just run kmail, let it grab the mail from your isp's server.
For local smtp transport (to your smtp server at the isp), ssmtp is a nice,
easily configurable replacement for sendmail or exim.
No reason to make it complicated than necessary.

ee is a nice one to use, too, and should be on the disk. Easiest one I've

alien works quite well with RPMs to make them into .deb packages. Give it a
