Hello All,
I am trying to configure exim for the following behavior:

* No remote delivery EXCEPT to users on one specific computer on our LAN.
I have looked at sample configuration files and read through some
documentation, but I am still not sure how to

Hey all,
Just had to jump in with my $0.02 here -- Winamp is _not_ well
written - it is a complete resource cow! It has many features that are

Hello all,
I recently installed the potato version of qt1g (1.42-2) on my
system in order to use the new version of licq. It appears to have
damaged KDE in some way, because now several K apps give a strange
error, for example, when trying to run kmedia:

Hello all,
I have been trying to burn a particular image to CD for the last 4
hours now. In the process, I have killed 5 CD's from the same bundle.
cdrecord gets about 25-30% done with the burn, and then it gives output
like this:
Waiting for reader process to fill input-buffer ... input
know and I will try to help.

Hey Lance,
Unless you are using a really old version of the kernel, like
pre-2.0 I think, then it is almost certain that you have an ELF-based
system.

Hi all,
I recently switched my filesystem over to a SCSI Hard Drive, and
now I want to use my old 9GB Drive for storage and for holding a small
Windows partition. After I set this up in lilo.conf and tried to boot to
Windows, my machine hung right at the message "Loading Windows". I have

Hi all,
I'm considering purchasing a SCSI Hard Drive to hold my system on,
and I was wondering about debian/kernel support for the Adaptec AHA-2940
UW vs. the Adaptec AHA-2940 U2W. Also, is it economical to pay the extra
$150 for an Ultra2 Wide controller and drive vs. an Ultra Wide? Wil
As far as a book to learn from goes, I would Recommend C++: How to

previous edition of this book. It's really good, IMHO.

If you want to avoid a headache, you can configure the NT Boot Loader to
boot your Debian system for you by doing the following IIRC (It's been a

1) Boot to Debian using a boot floppy or the Rescue disk.
2) Type the following, where X is the number of your linux parti
add mem=96M to your lilo.conf file.
