with the kernel-based one. Seems that sendmail couldn't lock the
file. Thanks again for all the help.

One possible way to achieve this is to do a 'swapoff' followed by a
'swapon' . ;)

In general, yes.

If you need a specific feature and you compile it as a module you
*will* know the module name ...
All the configs are in /etc/X11/kdm

If both hd's have the same geometry just use their device names as
arguments to the 'if' and 'of' arguments, for example
$ dd if=/dev/hdx of=/dev/hdy
If not, you can partition the second disk *exactly* the same way the
old one is partitioned to copy the partitions one after another, for
example
Did you forget to cc the list?

I'm using 'ogle' for the dvd part and 'cdrecord' to burn cd's.

Well, I've installed Debian on a Gericom with DVD/CD-RW and it worked
out of the box. I just had to enable scsi emulation to get cdrecord
work .

Yes, this works.

Hi there,
I'm encountering a strange problem in the interaction of a Solaris
mail server and a file server running potato. Usually, my users can
forward their mail into a local file by specifying its path in their
.forward. However, this doesn't work if the user home is stored on the
Linux file
