I am trying to load windows on a separate partition so my 4 year old can play a
Blue's Clues game he received as a present. Everytime I try to format the
partition with the window's setup, the format program dies at the end and says
there is something wrong with the partition.

I downloaded a newer Grip, which makes use of oggenc.

I am just stuck with why mounting the cdrom broke under 2.2.18.

I am losing my mind over this. If I don't fix this by tomorrow I am starting
over. I am running a pretty straight up 2.2.r2 install. I downloaded the
2.4.2 kernel to play around a little, but when back to 2.2.18pre21, because I
just didn't have the time to figure out why lp no longer worked (so
