1. how do i give users an ftp only account (no telnet, etc).
2. im using default debian install (2.0) , how do i enable anonymous ftp
sessions
?

i once had an ISP where in order to be able to run elm (when telnet`ing to
it) you have to invoke _$ set TERM=v100_ , they were running RedHat.
on another ISP, in order for you to run pine, you have to invoke _$ export
TERM=vt100_ , they ran BSDI.
now, on my debian system, (when i teln

I 81Mb of RAM but had no idea that i was using only the 64Mb of it until that
post by Mark Phillips. Anyway, i added the 'append' line to my /etc/lilo.conf
then run #lilo ...
When i tried restarting my box it would completely halt/hang at the part where
Linux does partition checks on
