I was using debian 10 and enjoying it, once I run 'apt upgrade' and it
changed to Kali linux rolling. I don't know why this happend but I want to
comeback to Debian. Is there any way to comeback or do I have to reinstall
again(ugh!).

I've downloaded Akshar.ttf (unicode hindi font) and want to install it
'system-wide', i.e. all applications installed on the system should be
able to use it.
I tried using 'defoma' (DEbian FOnt MAnager) to install the font, but
have not been successful. Here's what I did:

says to apply a kernel patch or downgrade binutils. Doing so might
work, but still seems worth correcting. Anyway, i'd guess there's
something wrong with the 2.16.1cvs20050902-1 package.
Any thoughts?
