Ave !
I upgrade my potato to the 2.4.17 kernel-binary following
Adrian Bunk URL
http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian
which is compiled with gcc-2.95.4.
Mine is gcc-2.95.2 and I didn´t find anything newer than
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/gcc/gcc-2.95.3.tar.gz
Any help ?
Thanks

I did not succeeded upgrading my perl 4.003
that comes with my debian 1.3.0 to a .tgz
perl4.004.
When I start the set up with Configure -d the
set up program stops complaining an error:
-
cc -O2 -Dbool=char -DHAS_BOOL -I/usr/local/inc

I'm running brand new debian 1.3.0
and I need upgrade my perl5.03 to
5.04.
I'd got the following message when
tried the Configure -d:
cc -O2 -Dbool=char -DHAS_BOOL -I/usr/local/include -L/usr/local/lib
-o try try.c -lnsl -lndbm -lgdbm -ldbm -ld

I'd just compiled a kernel-source-2.0.3 debian
package but my modules.dep is empty and
I wonder how can I build a /boot/System.map-2.0.30 ?
Thanks in advance

As far as I'm concerned the main package
we need is *fdos*, that should be at
unstable directory.
May be I'm too blind but I didn't found it
at my CDRom or at ftp.debian.org neither.
Any suggestion ?
Thank you

I'm running netscape3.01 on debian 1.0.15.
I'd read, can't remember where, that we can
set up netscape under linux to drive sound.
Any help ?
BTW . I can't ear any sound with the
appletviewer either.
Thank you
