I have upgraded from stable to testing (with maybe a couple of packages
from unstable) mainly resulting from a wish to install KSlovar.
However, now when I try to add or remove keymaps in "Keyboard
Preferences - Layout" I get error messages saying "Failed to load image

I'm trying to get my dsl up and I'm told I have to get the ethernet card
working first. Can someone suggest the program(s) I'll need for the
ethernet card? I'm using a Kingston brand and I assume there are
specific drivers, etc. for it.
I'll sure be happy to get past all this ignorance...

and read all the docs and instructions and I've looked at all the files,
etc. and I'm still not sure which files I use to create the disks I need
to put Debian on my machine. I want to do as little disk generation as

I could use some "advice". Here is your chance to directly influence a

I have a PII w/128 ram, 1.44 floppy, 1 cd-rom, 1 cd-rom burner, ZIP
drive, Unknown video mfr. (works w/W95 and it was free), SoundBlaster

Ok I don't know what I'm doing...
I would surely appreciate if you would point me at the correct files I
need to create the boot disks I need to install Debian (first time,
obviously) and... I am wondering if after that, can I create my own cd's
and install/undate(?) with them? I know this is
Ok. I'm a lost sheep. I want to install zenix as my operating system
(and trash Windows). I have read everything I can find and I find
nothing that addresses DSL. What I am looking for is a package that will
allow me to use my DSL connection with debian as my OS. I am not
familiar with zenix at all
