Hi,
As documented in two bug [1] reports [2], the only working kernel for my
system is 3.16.
The system is running jessie stretch at the moment with the jessie stock
kernel, which is 3.16.
As I would like to upgrade to buster, I'd like to know:
Is it possible to run buster with the jessie kernel

Hi,
Since the upgrade from jessie to stretch and despite several kernel
upgrades from backports I am bitten by the bug described here:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=914517
I am running the stretch system with the old 3.16 kernel from jessie.
Could please someone have a look

Hi,
I am a still proud owner of a genesi smartbook.
It is still running wheezy with a kernel in version 2.6.31 with Uboot as
boot loader.
Someone told me, that the hardware should be supported by now by a
mainline kernel.
I don't know how to find out, if the hardware is really supported, nor

Why do you just ask the sirs and not the madams, too? Is it for the same reason
that you are not able or willing to find out the answer to your simple question
just by yourself?

Hi,
thank you very much for your answers. Meanwhile I have the smartbook.
But before I play around, I would like to know better what will await me.

Hello,
I am interested in buying the EFIKA MX Smartbook [1].
Is there anybody who owns one and has Debian installed?
Besides I read some documentation, like [2], the documents that can be
found here [3], and [4], I still have some questions.
I'd prefer to have Debian over Ubuntu installed.
