HELP: Telneting Inbound via a PPP Connection

Hi there, I'm having a serious problem here. I have been able to set up my machine to accept PPP connection. I can dial from a win95 machine and use PAP to authenticate and connect. The IP address is assigned to the win95 machine alright and I can then ping my linux box but that's about it. A

loading support for 2 ethernet cards

I am having trouble autoprobing more than one Ethernet card at boot time. I have compiled support for the cards I am using (they are both of the same type) but only one is detected at boot time. I found a howto that describes a method that involves adding the line "ether=0,0,eth1" to my lilo.conf
