& Woody that preclude the use of Helix-Gnome under Potato - in fact I
installed it to my Potato box here from the CD (and have since "apt-got"
all the updates) without any problems at all.

What a long, strange trip it's been
h it and the old kernel. Also make
sure the "prompt" option is included - lilo.conf is well commented so
you shouldn't have too many problems. If the wheels fall off your new
kernel, you've then still got the old one to fall back to at boot time.

x27;s a 'patch -R' fix - in other
words, it reverses or undoes that part of the 2.2.15->2.2.16 patch and
reverts it back to the 2.2.15 code. .
Correct this and all will be well.
