Proftpd was recommended to me, and since reading their home page
(http://www.proftpd.org), I have come to the conclusion that they are worth
my time.
However, if you need something really secure, use openssh's 'scp' which
provides encrypted ftp-like capabilities. Of course you can't use anonymo

was recommended to me that I wait until 2.4.5.

I got the following error:
