Lately, I've seen how Debian is not following the wishes of many users.
I've seen how many distributions like Fedora Core, SUSE, Gentoo, even
Debian based ones like Knoppix and Ubuntu are listening their users and
having the defaults most users want. Like using the more secure, scalable
and easier
SourceForge.net is moving to Fedora Core from Debian!!!
This is a huge backoff for the Debian community.
Please do something to help SourceForge.net not take this step!!!
We need to hear why they are moving to Fedora Core and what problems
need to be fixed in Debian so they don't take this way.

I have to compile many packages from source because some of my patches
are not applied upstream. So I download the source package (dsc, diff.gz
& tar.gz), dpkg-source it, apply my patches, dpkg-buildpackage
-rfakeroot, install it and mark it for hold so when upgrading a newer
version isn't installe
