Most likely you have UDF file system on you CDRW. If the kernel support
UDF (there is an option in the kernel config), you can read the contents.

Most likely the .bin file itself is an installer. You just run it and it
will start the installation. For example, staroffice and acrobat reader
use .bin as an installer.
