I've seen where Debian has a Linux Kernel 2.0.33 that will allow access
to Fat32 partitions but I can't find the Debian package. Is it available
yet?

I got this version ooff your site and installed it but had problems
making it the default manager. Also, is the file .steprc included in the
package? I can't seem to locate it on my system and would really

Well the install of Debian Linux went well and I've learned quite a bit
but I am having a problem with the keys that change modes in Xwindow.
They have no effect. The combo I use is cntr-alt + or -. Is this
correct? I have Xwindow running pretty darn good but those mode keys

I got some xwindows stuff off the Debian site and I am stumped as to how
to use dpkg to uncomprees? them? I put them on an msdos floppy but
cannot minipulate them with dpkg.
There is another prog called dpkg-xxx that I was able to view them with
and that worked fine but I cannot get anything

I hope I'm not in the dark about this due to mental deficiancy. I can't
seem to mount my cdrom. I have a buslogic bt946c controlling a 1gig
drive and a chinon 1X cdrom. It recognizes the cdrom at boot buty I
cannot mount it. I either get "special device not found error" or "not a
valid block
