I was not talking about wiping individual files, but about wiping a
whole disk or partition. Wipe handles block devices quite well.

random data to your disk, so that a recovery of the original data is
almost (?) impossible. Versions prior to 0.20 have problems with disks
larger than 4GB, so be sure to use a recent version.

I believe it was a feature in Knoppix but I am not sure.
Just type "source /etc/bash_completion" into your shell oder add this
line to your ~/.bashrc startup file to enables auto completion.

eate now. I see the following in my syslog:
| kernel: intel8x0_measure_ac97_clock: measured 49477 usecs
| kernel: intel8x0: clocking to 48000
You could try to specify the clocking manually as a module option,
maybe that will correct your problem.

t bothered to take a closer look at the ALSA driver.
By the way, my chip is reported by lspci as "Intel Corp. 82801DB (ICH4)
AC'97 Audio Controller".

I have the same problem here with my system. A bugreport has been
filed a few days ago under #255849.

You should have a look at the patterns section of the mutt manual.

I have a Dell D400 and had exactly the same problem. One of the daily
builds back in January solved it for me, though. Have you already
tried the latest build?

From /usr/share/doc/exim4-daemon-heavy/exiscan-acl-spec.txt.gz:
To use this facility, you MUST set the "av_scanner" option in
section 1 of the exim config file.
This option can not be set in the acl configuration itself.

apt-show-versions should do the trick

Sawfish can maximize vertically, horizontally and in both directions. It
was the default window manager with gnome 1 and will probably work well
together with gnome 2.

Procmail sends the message via STDIN, so you would have to read it from
there. As you have to read the message more than once for the different
formail calls, it would probably be best to save
x". To install the backported version, you have to
specify either the complete version or an regexp. So both
"postfix=2.0.16-4.woody.1" and "postfix=2.0.16*" should work.

bug with aptitude, as "apt-get update" works on my
machine and "aptitude update" should do exactly the same thing. If
"apt-get update" solves the problem for you, you should probably file a
bug report against aptitude (after checking this has not been reported
already)

Well, the packages have found another home recently. Take a look at the
bottom of http://marillat.free.fr/ for the new locations.
