I'm trying to convert a dvi2ps-generated file to TIFF, using
$ gs -q -dNOPROMPT -dBATCH -sDEVICE=tiffg4 -sOutputFile=file.tif file.ps
For this to work, I have to press return for each page. I googled around a
bit and found out that the PostScript showpage command seems to be missing.

I'm still introducing a friend of mine to Linux by phone.
Yesterday and the days before, his Realtek 8139 NCI worked out of the box
using DHCP. Today, no IP is received over DHCP; instead, the boot script
does several tries after different intervals and finally gives up.

whose device file had change from hda to sda with 2.6. :-)
Is there a list of harddisc involved in this change? Maybe, there should be
some easy-to-find info on this (perhaps in a Wiki, don't know if one
exists).
