usb HD mounting problems

Hi List, still got problems mounting and accessing an external HD (MacPower Icecube FW800) through USB. Note that this is on a Powerpc, but it might not be a platform specific problem, hence the post. I am here on Debian Testing with an 2.6.11.5 kernel. I think i got all required modules load
