graphic cards

I am in the going to change my graphic card in my computer my old one which is a SiS 6326 card which is to difficult to set up with my knowledge. I am thinking of getting a savage 4 graphic card does this get picked up on the install or do I have to use xf86config to afterwards as I trying to

Hello All I have the above card which fails to get started. Storm does not have it on the web site as supported progeny debian also said that they have had problems with all SiS cards but will get it sorted on the next release Does not mean it does not work I have been trying 2.2r2 to get past
