Now that I have found out that Xadmin is gone, does anyone have a
recommendation fro a replacement admin tool. I like something at least
equal to xadmin if not better...

when I first install Hamm via ftp I could find it now I can't. That's

Does anyone no how to center the background. I was playing with the gimp
and converted my old NT backgrounds to wmaker, but the tile and there is
no need for them to.

I just completely installed wmaker 0.20.0 and the wmakerconf ( I believe
that the name. I had been using WPrefs which still works fine. But
wmakerconf will crash when I try to switch tabs. I canonly edit the misc
tab when I switch it just crashes. Has this happened to anyone else. Is
there a fix.
This morning I was rebuilding my system and I selected perl and
perl-base. And a got a strange conflict dependency error. It said:
perl (version numbers from hamm stable) depends on perl-base.
perl-base conflicts with perl
I don't understand that one. But it would not install them.

On the recommendation of others, I attempted to download some apps from
slink! I had done this before and everything worked fine!
Not this time I need to download libc6 and libreadline2 from slink along

I can't seem to get them to compile.

why does it erase the /dev/fd0 line from mtab?

I was attempting to install siag, and the installition call for me to do
the following...

now this is the second thing I tried to install that called for me to
use vi and everytime I do it print the file to the screen...I look at it

the way through make zImage...I get this error

I'm haveing major problems. After I decided to switch to KDE, I've had
nothing but problems. For one binutils 2.9 will not install now matter
what I do and it would uninstall either. When I try I get the error.
