and did the rehash in texconfig.
Now my local files are listed in ls-R
but TeX don't find them when working on
a doc containing: \input [file] .
I'm testing with document sources that
worked OK in my old slink version.
Where have I gone wrong?

I recently tried to upgrade to kernel 2.2.1 from 2.0.34 . The
scanner had been working great. After upgrade (kernel only),
find-scanner found the scanner, attempting to scan caused some
action in the scanner, then I lost keyboard and mouse control.
While rebooting (with reset button) the scanner
After downgrading gs-aladdin it printed OK!

Some details: Using gv I displayed (note: it displayed correctly) the
.pdf of the 4835 tax form. I marked page 1 and clicked 'print marked

I'm using Debian 1.3.1 which I upgraded from 1.2 using the cheapbytes CD.
All hints will be appreciated. Is this something I screwed up, (probably) or
the provider's problem, or - - -?

What's the magic incantation?
My machine finds the CD, gets to the " boot: " prompt. Then it reboots
(after each of my many guesses). I have sucessfully installed by booting
from floppy, but I'm still curious.
BTW I have an Intel Zappa board, and my CD is /dev/hdc.
There's a bug, but I'm not sure if it's me or the source package.
I sucessfully compiled, but ONLY after making these changes:
change in wrapper.c
change: #include "paper.h" to: #include
change in debian/rules
change:
install -m 0644 -o root -g root debian/setuid /usr/doc/g
