With my current settings XF86Setup gives me only 2 options to choose
from
in ModeSelection. I even went as far as editing the X86Config file and
when I ran
XF86Setup again it only gave me the 2 options and removed the 2 I added
in the config file. I'm not much of an XF86Config expert and I'm gettin

I could reinstall Redhat and look at it's config

I did a reinstall. The first time I installed potato, the mouse was
all fd up, it sticks to the bottom of the screen and refuses to
com up. I can see the tip of the pointer on the bottom edge of the
screen. When that happened, I ran XF86Setup and changed
a couple settings on the mouse and I think t
I have a Logitech Wingman gaming mouse that I can't
figure out how to get the 3rd or middle button to work.
When I ran redhat, it got probed and configured
automatically so I don't know what made it work. I've tried
the emulate 3rd button in the XF86Setup and that did not
work.

I found the experimental driver option in the very first topic:
Code Maturity Level Options. I said yes there and my greyed
out realtek option was ungreyed. Hooray. Now all I have to
do is compile and install the kernel and I'll have passed the
last test (connecting to the web and getting my networ
I have a clue:
RealTek 8129/8139

Another PCI single chip ethernet solution from RealTek. A driver for cards
based upon this chip was included in the v2.0.34 release of linux. You

I'm running make xconfig on kernel source 2.2.17
and the line in the subject line is an option
in Ethernet (10 or 100Mbit section). I need this for
my ethernet cards but I can't figure out how to
get the option to bold (ungrey). Maybe I can't.
I was able to get this to work using source 2.3.xx

I'm replacing my RedHat system with Potato and want to know
what is the best XServer to run with my Matrox G400.

I had better luck getting the site with a lower case

For me, joining a local linux user group has helped tremendously.
If you have successfully installed Potato, you have already
learned a chunk, and can no
Hello
I've been dying to read this list in the archive version for the month
of July. I know it is probably huge and I can wait, I
just wanted to know about when it will be accessible via www.debian.org!
I was trying to keep up with the list back then, but I was working for
