The compiler is unable to find __eh_pc used by the file WindowManager.cpp (?) in the library. You have to debug this yourself. -- Patrik Hägglund

I don't know if Debian has some special policy for this; but as far as I know: on a general UNIX box is USER is set by csh (and tcsh), and LOGNAME is set by login. -- Patrik Hägglund
