I'm compiling a custom kernel for my Debian Wheezy operating system.
In menuconfig when Load an Alternate Configuration File, can't enter
the file name.
The cursor blinking in the field but can't enter any letter.

and then copy / paste to the aptitude search, and then purge in aptitude.
Is there an automated way to do this task out there?

If I try to compile linux-image-2.6.18 from source, in menuconfig can't to find
driver for this card.
Is there some experience with this PCI Ethernet card on Debian Etch out there?
