I'm betting that your problem is the fact that scp use an uppercase -P
to specify the port rather than the -p uses.

Good luck with that. Unless [EMAIL PROTECTED] has some way
to whitelist the mailing list, about the only things that can be done
are to either ignore the mails, or kick that email address off the list.

Most of the Dell laptops that I've dealed with recently have had Intel
Pro Wireless on them which are very well supported under Linux. Check
out the ipw2200 and ip2100 packages in apt.
