Hi List,
Lets say that 100 people ask for www.domain.com, and I have three
servers, running the same service. How can I configure in a dns server
(named) to round robin this ? I mean can I do something like this? :
www.domain.com is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.1.3 in order to

Nope, unfortunatly the KDE packages a re not in the debian distribution,
so you would have to download these packages manually from

Hello again from the kernel virgin man;
I was wondering what the hell to install from all of this. I suppose
that the docs would be the most important thing for me. But, do I need
all of these ?

Hello all;
Here is a small update on what I have done so far, and what errors I'm
getting. I haven't slept much, since this has been eating my head inside
out. I have cut down from three network cards to just two of them. So,
the steps I would presumebly have to follow would be these :

Hi Marc;
Thank you very much for this help. I have the following configuration
right now,
and when I did "modprobe ne", "modprobe ne0", "modprobe ne1", "modprobe

Anyway, the problem arises when I am booting up the system.

Hello list;
Sorry if those goes to the wrong list or people, and for it being to
long. I have a serious problem with this, or better said, with myself. I
don't know what to do and m time is sort of running out. I managed to
find out some more information about what I have and what I need.
Thanks for the info, ok, to cut things short, they can all install on
"ne" (Compatible NE2000 Ethernet Card). I think that is what you meant
by modules.

Hi debian list users;
I have a little problem called lack of knowledge. Apart from being the
kernel virgin man, I also am the unexperienced in many aspects. Lack of
knowledge is nasty, because if I knew what programs to use for what and
when, then I would be able to do some more. I'll comp
Hi Everyone. . .
I think it's best to start off with the right question. I
have a network of about 25 computers, all on the same class C
(192.168.1.*). I have a Linux box, which is 192.168.1.1, and this
Linux box is going to be the default gateway of every other
machine in this network. S
Where can I find a manual on Internet about compiling kernel's ?

Hi List;
