Is it a function of the hardware bios or the OS to be able to boot without a
keyboard or mouse? I have a Debian Potato system that is up and running. I
want to be able to boot the system with no keyboard or mouse plugged in. I
SSH to it when I need to check it or do anything.
If it is hardware any
When I make changes to files, for example
hosts.deny or hosts.access how do I get the OS to see them without rebooting? I
know with my DNS files I can do a "rndc reload" and the changes are read but
with these types of files I don't know hot get the read.
Thanks,
Mike
Thank you very much, that was it!
Thanks again,
Mike

In the srm.conf file I have uncommented out the

I made a file called .htacces in the root direc

published this month. I don't know if its good but I have high hopes that it
will be good for just the exact things you talked about.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Can anyone give me the trick to getting cgi scripts
to work with apache. My web site works fine but the cgi scripts don't run. I
tried the ScriptAlias that the apache web site talks about but apache won't
start with that added.
Thanks,

I'm having a problem getting Debian's Sendmail 8.9.3 using the virtusertable
feature. I've added the line:
FEATURE(`virtusertable')dnl to the sendmail.mc
I added the # Virtual user table (maps incoming users)
Kvirtuser hash -o /etc/mail/virtusertable to the sendmail.cf file
I can't get it to see
13 matches
