is there a debian package available for pop-/smtp-authentication for
sendmail?
if not, i think i have to recombile perl and sendmail for using
poprelay.pl because they are using different db libs. has someone running
poprelay.pl under debain 2.1?

i like debian 2.0 very much but now i have problems with xterm:
- i am not able to log into some systems using telnet (connection closed
by foreign host).
- on some systems i cannot start vi when logged in via xterm/telnet (no
terminal database found - debian 1.3 system)
- backspace d

i installed lprgn and magicfilter but how do i tell them that i have a hp
laserjet 4 with a4 paper and that it should use 600dpi, ...?

i just changed to debian linux for the first time and have a small x
problem:
root can startx and everything works fine but when a user starts x no
windows manager is loaded. which startup files do i have to copy/create
for each user?
