For those who stuck because no one seems to know the answer on this, I was able to solve it. The DE-528CT is a NE2000 PCI clone with a RTL8029 chipset that sells for under $15. But when you try insmod ne2k-pci.o you get a bunch of symbol errors. You need to insmod 8390.o first (also located

I've installed potato r3 onto a K6/300 that hopefully one day will be an ADSL router. I'm trying to use either a D-Link 528 or a D-Link 530TX+. The installer was able to add the rtl8139 driver and when I use insmod rtl8139.o I get: rtl8139.o: init_module: Device or resource busy Hint: this erro
