If I need a new module (one that I didn't know
about when I did my initial Debian install), do
I have to build a new kernel to get that module,
or can I just install the module now somehow?
Specifically, I want to be able to do java development.
I did an apt-get of jdk1.1-native and jdk1.1

An lsmod shows:

soundcore24404[es1370]

The Sound HOWTO says that the "No such device" response

It appears to me that the netscape package included on the
debian 2.2r3 cd's is only the browser, not the combined

I tried to install CUPS from my debian 2.2r3 cd's, but apt-get says
it's not there. Is there a version somewhere that is compatible with
debian 2.2r3?

I recently installed debian 2.2r3, including the
various "parport"

the lpr command didn't print, I installed
apsfilter, but it failed to
print the test page.
