Hi all,
I migrated a server running RH7.2 to Debian Woody without much problems
except UW-IMAPD. At the moment, I am testing it with only two users:
1) User1's Inbox is /var/mail/user1. I have copied the permissions on file
and directory from another server with a working setup (uid=username,

Hi all,
one things really bugs me about my Linux box: Playing MP3s or Oggs is
frequently interrupted for a split second when there is a little more than
the usual disk activity. Say I open one programme and close another at the
same time. For the duration of that disk activity, sound stutters.

Use Postscript/Default in Mozilla's print dialog. As "print command" in the
properties for Postscript/Default insert "kprinter --stdin" (without the
quotes).
Then, after printing in Mozilla, the KPrint dialog box opens with all the
usual options (different printers, pages etc.)

Hi,
I am having a strange problem: Running Mozilla (1.0 on Woody) as Root is
fine. Starting it as a user produces a Mozilla window without top menu,
context menue and no tabs.
Any help? Thanks!

Hi,
does anyone know a source for Mozilla Version 1.3 for Woody? Apt-get.org
does not seem to list any and I am really looking forward to the new
functionality.
Thanks

I have tried to get DHCP working on an SIS900 (on an Elitegroup K7S5A) for
quite some time (Debina, Gentoo). No such luck. DHCP works with Windows but
not Linux. Normal networking (with static IP) is fine, just no DCHP.
Maybe a new driver would help, but the old one just doesn't do DHCP.

Yup, used to have the same problem. Has something to do with Debian Mozilla
being compiled with different gcc then Enigmail.
Solution: Get Enigmail for Debian, available on
http://enigmail.mozdev.org/download.html
look for Debian.
Works fine here. Hope that helps
