call of "$ORA_HOME/bin/lsnrctl start" because it wasn't listening for
connections. Other than that, I tested with IBM and Sun 1.3 tarballs for my JDK
and the JDBC stuff seemed to work allright after a bit of tweaking.

with pivot_root). Can anyone
point me to documentation on switching your root mount or offer pointers on how
I'd go about doing this? I figure it all needs to be done at boot up, but I'm
not sure how to go about it.

Hi,
I am trying to burn a .iso file using SONY Discribe
PPC V2.7 and am having some trouble. Every time I try,
it looks like it will burn the .iso file itself to the
disk.
I downloaded the file and saved it as source in
Netscape on my MAC. The computer still sees it as a
Netscape file with
nd dpkg-buildpackage didn't really say
anything about this. What about making gcc more SMP-aware (a .gccrc
somewhere?)? Is there a Debian SMP/optimizing mini-howto somewhere (or should I
think about writing it after I get all this straightened out?)?
