Thanks guys for your help. It's up and running and seems
to be working well. I did notice one thing I don't
remember seeing before. I've now got a 67meg file in /proc
(kcore). Is this a real file? If so, how do I get rid of it?
Thanks again

Hi,
I bought a larger hard-drive for my potato box and want
to transfer my system to it (preserving permissions,
symlinks, etc).
I thought I saw a thread about this, but couldn't find it.
Can anyone tell me what FM to read to get this going?
TIA

Hi,
I purchased a CyberPower 500SL and since they recommend
powstatd on their web site, I installed it. The problem
is powstatd will not recognize that the UPS is connected
to ttyS1. powstatd -t reports low power and shuts the
computer down. If I change back to the default ttyS0

Hi,
Is vflib2 used for anything besides Japanese vector fonts? If not,
why would gs depend on it?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm receiving messages in .xsession-errors, stating:
"sox: unable to open /dev/audio. Device or resource busy."
All sounds still play, however, everytime a sound file is run,
a new error msg is generated.
How can I find out what is using /dev/audio?
Thanks,
MaryK
