alsa driver configuration

hello all. I am trying to configure alsa drivers on an unstable box. I compiled them with make-kpkg without a problem and the deb installed. Following instructions on the web I added a file alsa to /etc/modutils... which debconf prompted and moved to /etc/alsa/modutils/0.9 and linked back. I

If you are just trying to listen to music it would by far be easiest and simplest to rip the cd tracks into ogg vorbis or mp3 formats. There are many programs to facilitate this. Apt-cache search ripper, apt-cache search ogg... etc. if you aredetermined to be odd it is possible to rip a
