Hello again,
Here's an update (although I doubt anyone's that interested): hashing
out glx module is a quick fix to the problem.

Hello,
Has anyone experienced any problems with the nvidia module and recent
X upgrades to 4.2.1-13 under kernel 2.6.0-test9? The symptoms here are:
xinit stops with a fatal server error just after initializing GL
extensions and the screen gets quite dim - ttyNs still work but aren't
'refreshed'
n was to turn off
transparency (a panel to blame was a 'detached' panel at the top with
2 running applets: a clock and workspace 'switcher').

The command switches of 'nautilus desktop', which is the sole reason (I
believe...) nautilus respawns. Try executing it through ALT+F2 or
whatever shortcut you've assigned to the 'run' dialogue.

You might be able to switch those nautilus processes with:
gconftool-2 --type=bool --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop false

that nautilus in unstable became 'really unstable' after the recent
upgrade (try clicking a few times while browsing files...). In fact it's
hardly usable now.
I hope the bugs will be fixed soon (although I haven't seen your

just fine...

Have you tried other protocols? I use ExplorerPS/2 with my optical
mouse (4 buttons, 2 wheels, cheapo A4tech stuff) - works very well.
Good luck.

I know, that's what I meant when I wrote 'limited'.

Greetings!
Is Debian package kernel-source-2.4.20 affected by the (limited) ext3
data corruption bug or had it been fixed/patched (optimisation of
data-ordered inodes only) before the package was released?
Thanks.

Hello!
Sorry about replying to my own posts, but changing a PCI slot helped...
Anyway I suppose it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Anyone
has a clue why it acutally did? Or if there's a way to change/fix it
without PCI slot swapping?

What can be done about it? Can I assign IRQ to a PCI device 'by hand'?
If so how?
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance :]

Thanks in advance
