Are these all unix stations or are some of these Win95/NT if the latter
of the two you can buy a product from Bay Networks that lets you use IPX
for 50 stations to one IP number it see
USR had problems with some 14400 and 28800 modems in the last 18 months
if you have purchased it during that time or even prior I would look at
USR's web site for a flash upgrade for your modem.

Before you "SU" to root type 'xhost +' this will disable X windows access
control. Remember X windows is a network program and has to authorize
