You can see all the instances of the FQDN by running
find /etc -type f | xargs grep yourFQDN
that will show all the files that need to be changed
(you could use the previous output filtered with "uniq" and modified with
"sed" to do the whole thing in one step)

I just installed a plain base of debian 2.0. on a box with
an ISDN card.
To my surprise I did not find any isdn related special files
(in /dev).

1) I run MAKEDEV isdn-io being at /dev as root.
2) pppconfig -> I choose /dev/ippp0 as the port.
