I didn't have a swap drive when I installed SARGE and I don't
see a swap drive mounted. I have now created a swapdrive.
Do I need to install swapd?
Also, how do I setup so the swapdrive is mounted/used at boot?

Running Sarge with Grub, Debian kernel image 2.6.8-k7-smp
I don't have anything attached to /dev/hdc or /dev/hdd
but they are getting probed none the less. Adds about an
extra 30 seconds to my boot process. Is there a way to stop
this?

I am emulating the mouse with the keyboard by
Ctl+Shift+Num an then using the keypad. My
questions are thus:
"/","*","-" are supposed to reflect left, center, and
right mouse buttons. They do not work however. Is

for a SB 16 PNP. I keep getting the error

Sound Blaster 16 soundcard not found or device busy
In case, if you have AWE card, try snd-sbawe module

I am trying to run a bash script in cron. I originally wanted
it to run at 11:59pm on the last day of every month. February
will always cause problems because of leap years. Therefore,
I decided to run cron on the first day of every month using

Anyone setup surfraw? I am wondering how I can set it up
so that the output is dumped to the screen instead of opening
a browser, if possible? I search "google chili" and surfraw
opens "links" with the results. I would prefer results to scroll

back and forth it locks up the console. I have to be on tty8
or in X for the switch in work. In X, a switch to another computer
